Harvesting Coffee

Once the red coffee beans are ready to be picked, the bags of coffee beans are carried to our wet mill where the fruit is removed from the seed by washing and then paddling the beans. All the pulp that is removed is then used as organic material to be put back again on the land as compost.

Once the beans are fertilized for several days they are transported to our dry mill to be dried by the sun, which creates the green bean. The green beans are the sized, sorted, and evaluated by hand. Then the finest of our green beans are imported to the U.S. to be roasted.
