Once the red coffee beans are ready to picked, the bags of coffee beans are carried to our wet mill where the fruit is removed from the seed by washing and then paddling the beans. All the pulp that is removed is then used as organic material to be put back again on the land as compost.
Once the beans are fertilized for several days they are then transported to our dry mill to be dried by the sun. This is where we then get our green bean. The green beans are then sized, sorted, evaluated by hand. It is this green that is then imported into the U.S. to be taken to the roaster. There are very few products that demand such intricate amount of human effort for the end product.
That is why we promise our coffee to be of utmost quality since we are involved in the whole process of bringing our coffee to your home.
