Roasting Coffee

This process is one of the most crucial because it involves the actual "cooking" of the green beans to reveal the essence of the bean depending on the varying roasts.

Roasting the green beans requires very special attention specifically to the temperature and the length of time in the roaster. If you want a lighter roast, keep it in there for less time or for less temperature. For a darker roast, time and temperature will play a major part in that.

Roasting and blending are two of the most important aspects of creating a great gourmet coffee. The roasting process caramelizes the sugars and carbohydrates in the beans creating an oil-like substance, which gives the coffee its flavor and aroma.

At Fara Café we offer our single roasted coffees as well as a combination of our blends such as our Special Blend and our Signature Roast coffees. If there is a particular combination you'd like for us to blend up for you, please contact us at sales@faracafe.com, and we can come up with something extra special for you.
